Are you a corporate finance professional looking for a Corporate Finance Senior Manager role? AJ Chambers are pleased to be working with a leading Advisory firm, who are expanding their Corporate Finance offering.

This role is available due to ongoing growth, and this dynamic firm enjoys exceptionally high levels of staff retention. Whilst this advert is for an Associate/assistant manager, the firm would consider talented candidates at all levels from Exec.

The primary function of this role will be to lead fieldwork for TS and M&A engagements, inclusive of project and team management, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data and acting in accordance business’ values and competency framework at all times.

Reporting to the Corporate Finance Partner, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of specific corporate finance engagements
  • Manage project timetables and resourcing
  • Coach and train junior members of staff
  • Effective and appropriate delegation to junior members of staff
  • Interact across the business to form a strong management peer group that communicate and share knowledge around key issues impacting business performance
  • Develop own network of contacts that are accretive or incremental to existing firm relationships
  • Demonstrate an ability to win work for corporate finance and the wider business through client portfolio (new existing) and personal network (new new)
  • Maintain CPD

  • Professional accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA) with a minimum 4 years’ post-qualified experience with at least 2 years in Corporate Finance (TS or M&A)
  • Have successfully managed projects across teams from planning to completion
  • Understanding of CF deal structures and completion mechanisms along with CF research systems and how to use them
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Thames Valley and London Private Equity community
  • Proficient in Excel (data analysis), Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate with senior management and explain points clearly and concisely, and with client personnel at all levels and explain points clearly and concisely
  • Ability to train, coach and develop other team members
  • Highly commercial with excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Willing to embrace change and new ideas
  • Analytical with precise attention to detail

    The role will provide full secretarial support to the team leader ensuring client problems are solved efficiently

    A busy and top regional law firm based in Southend is looking to expand its Residential and Commercial Property team with an experienced Legal Assistant to deal with the whole process of Post and Pre completion Conveyancing.

    The role will sit within a busy team supporting two Fee Earners, some of the duties will include:

    Dealing with sale enquiries and related technical matters relating to sales transactions under the supervision of the Property Lawyer. Preparing draft contract packages, searches, exchange and completion letters. Drafting non-standard non-technical correspondence.
