AJ Chambers have recently partnered with a reputable accountancy practice based in Leigh-on-Sea who are actively searching for audit professionals to contribute to the continued success of the firm as part of a friendly and growing team.

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio that can offer hands on experience to interesting client work and projects such as charities and solicitors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion.
• Preparation of statutory accounts, as well as reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
• Preparation of corporation tax computations (training can be provided if needed).
• Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the go-to for support.
• Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.
• Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
• Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
• Support junior team members by knowledge sharing and supporting their progression.
