The Role:
- Undertaking audit work on behalf of the firm’s clients whilst also responsible for accounts preparation and tax computations
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients (approx. £500-750k) including management of WIP and billing and workforce planning
- Working with a range of client sectors including hospitality, property, professional services, retail and healthcare, with average turnover being £20-40m
- Delegating audit, accounts and tax compliance to the team and reviewing their work
- Providing feedback and training to junior team members
- Undertaking business development i.e. networking events and marketing events
- Involvement in meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work
You:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified
- Proven experience at Manager level and ability to manage a portfolio of clients
- Experience in Audit, Accounts and Tax
- People management experience
- Use of Caseware would be an advantage
