AJ Chambers are currently working with a well established and respected Top 50 Accountancy Practice in their Nottingham office, looking for an experienced, qualified Audit Director with RI status.

 

An incredible opportunity to join a well established practice with aspirations of growth and expansion to manage Audit team within their Nottingham office. Candidate should be ambitious, experienced Director, fully qualified and looking to become an integral part of a successful and well established team and Practice. This role has clear pathway to Partnership.

  • Part Qualified Audit Senior
    £30000 per year - 35000 per year

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Senior to join a growing and dynamic Top 30 Firm!

    The firm are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual who wishes to develop their skill set and progress through the firm.

     

    The Role

    The position would be split approximately 90% Audit, 10% Accounts and would include the below responsibilities:

    Planning, execution and completion of audits Reporting directly to Managers or Partners Preparation of accounts Supervision of trainees including work delegation and review Leading teams on-site at Audits Completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget

    You

    Studying towards ACA / ACCA qualification, part qualified / finalist level  At least 2 years\' experience in Practice in a role at least consisting of 70% Audit  Experience leading Audits is essential, even if just the smaller ones!  Use of Caseware and/or Mercia would be an additional benefit!

  • Audit Semi-Senior
    £25000 per year - 32000 per year

    Audit Semi-Senior | Top 30 Practice

    A fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified ACA / ACCA Auditor to join one of the largest Practices in the country, who can offer support and growth up to and beyond the completion of your qualification.

    The Role

    Carrying out Audits using a bespoke risk based approach for a range of clients across a variety of sectors including media, technology, property, hospitality and not-for-profit. Act as assistant on larger clients, completing relevant sections of the Audit file as discussed with Senior staff at the planning meeting. Acting as Senior on smaller Audits, reporting directly to the Manager. You would be responsible for planning the Audit file through to the completion sections. Supervising and delegating work to less experienced members of the Audit team. Appraising less experienced member of the team following completion of jobs worked on with them. 90% Audit focused.

    The successful candidate will have at least 18 months\' experience working within a similar sized Practice in the Audit or Audit & Accounts department. Ideally, you will be studying either your ACA or ACCA qualification, and this firm will continue study support for this, as well as assisting with exit fees from your current firm if required.
