Part Qualified Accountant – Leading Independent & Training Firm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this leading practice as a Part Qualified Accountant. Due to organic growth, the firm are searching for an ambitious individual with previous experience in an accountancy practice to join them and progress within the firm.

Location:

  • Wymondham, Norfolk

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Preparation of management and statutory accounts for partner review
  • Preparation of corporate tax and self-assessment tax returns
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Various bookkeeping duties
  • Attending and preparing for client meetings
  • Liaising with HMRC

The Candidate

  • A minimum of 3 years\' experience in Public Practice
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified – study support will be provided
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and presentational skills

    £16,000 - £19,000 per annum

    A leading local practice is seeking a graduate to join their business.

    This individual would have full exposure to the accounts process and would receive full training in ACA exams.

    This business has successfully hired and trained many people at this level in the past and helped them qualify as chartered accountants and stay within and progress through the business.

    In addition to accounts work, there may be the opportunity to be involved in varied areas of the business, including audit and tax.

    Requirements:

    2:1 degree or higher in any discipline Excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm and interest to deal directly with clients Strong academic background prior to degree study Commitment to completing 3 years’ worth of accounting exams

    The training package will include study with a leading college, and fully funded exams and training materials. The starting salary for this role is £16,000-£19,000, plus fully funded training.

  • Audit Team Leader

    Our client, a dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants, are looking for an Audit Team Leader to join their Leatherhead office. This role sits within a really friendly and supportive team, and this is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified Auditor to take the next step in their career.

    As an Audit Team Leader, you will be responsible for the audits of client accounts, and the preparation of the client\'s accounts as well as leading a team.

    Ideally, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified, and have previous experience within a similar role. You will also have excellent communication skills with a self-motivated attitude.

    Key Responsibilities of an Audit Senior:

    The audit of client accounts from books and records that have been provided Preparation of client accounts including audit and non-audit clients Preparation of tax computations for both income tax and corporation tax based on accounts prepared Reconciliation of VAT and PAYE accounts and advising the manager or client directly of any adjustments needed concerning under payment or overpayments to the Tax Authorities Supervising the audit process on site, supporting and developing more junior members

    Essential Skills and Experience for this Audit Senior role:

    Previous experience in an audit role Well-rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete assignments within tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills Ideally, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified
