Duties:
Managing (under supervision) an allocated portfolio of work Clients are primarily HNWI\'s with a diverse range of UK and international issues Dealing with tax processing and tax returns Liaising with clients Interaction with other accountancy practices and contacts Liaising with the Inland Revenue and other third partiesÂ
Essential:
ATT studier – either partially qualified or looking to start studying (but must be committed to pursuing a career in tax) A good command of spoken and written English Strong organisational and planning skills Able to work independentlyÂ

To assist the managers in dealing with the tax affairs of companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Â

Main duties
The client base includes a significant number of owner-managed businesses, including partnerships, sole traders and private companies and UK subsidiary companies.
Â
Responsible for own portfolio of clients and management of compliance cycle Preparing corporation tax computations for larger and more complex corporate clients, including completion of tax provision and deferred tax calculations. Finalising company tax returns for client approval and subsequent submission. Review of work and corporation tax computations prepared by junior members of staff, providing training and coaching support where appropriate.  Working closely with the audit and accounts teams to assist them with tax provisions in accounts. Preparation of tax computations and returns for sole traders and partnerships Preparation of tax returns for directors and partners Capital allowance reviews Research & development reviews Drafting correspondence with the client and HMRC Preparation of capital gains tax computations Claims for relief under EIS and VCT and dealing with the relevant elections Preparation/review of P11Ds, ERS, non-resident landlord and ATED returns Providing support in advising clients on tax planning opportunities including on EIS and reconstructionsÂ
As the role develops the candidate will have the opportunity to become more involved in tax planning and advice to clients.Â

Experience & Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates who hold the CTA qualification – but not essential. It would be desirable for candidates also to hold or be studying towards an accounting qualification. Minimum of 2/3 years\' experience working within an accountancy practice, with a Corporate or Mixed Tax background. The successful candidate will be expected to work without the need for constant supervision and to show initiative in dealing with clients\' affairs. The person will also be expected to take responsibility for monitoring their own time budgets. I am seeking an experience and qualified accountant and auditor to join a successful and well regarded national practice.
This role will suit someone who has had some experience with leadership and mentoring, but not necessarily a formal managerial background.
My client is a very reputable name within the area, who work with very diverse clients. They are a top 100 practice and have an excellent award-winning track record.
They would be able to train this person to become an assistant manager and progress through the firm in the future.
Their client portfolio varies and most of their audit clients are within the £30-40 million turnover range, however do reach into the £150 Million + area.

Audit Senior

A leading national practice is currently seeking multiple Auditors to join their Milton Keynes branch.
They are a multiple award-winning firm and have a strong attitude towards work/life balance, including the ability to work from home up to 2 days a week. They have an excellent benefits package which includes vouchers, discounts, and prizes, in addition to other more common things like insurances and pension.
This position would involve auditing both owner-managed businesses and larger corporate clients, as well as putting together the year-end accounts for these firms too. This would be around 80% audit work. The travel involved would not be too intense however as most clients are within short commutable distance.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading audits on a varied portfolio of clients, supervising Juniors and Semi Seniors. You will be ACA/ACCA Qualified, willing to travel and have previous experience within a similar role.
Key Responsibilities of an Audit Assistant Manager:
Planning Audits and identifying key risk areas. Ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and up to date technical knowledge. Ability to ensure that client deadlines are met and to budget Experience of working on more complex aspects of audits. Building strong client relationships and being a point of contact on advice for structuring, systems as well as source of relevant information.
